Caribbean Poker is played with a deck of 52 cards. Up to 3 hands can be played at the same time. The target is to have the highest valued poker hand. The rule of forming poker hands follows the conventional standards.
| HAND | PAYOUT |
|---|---|
| Royal Straight Flush | 800 to 1 |
| Straight Flush | 200 to 1 |
| Four of a kind | 25 to 1 |
| Full house | 10 to 1 |
| Flush | 7 to 1 |
| Straight | 5 to 1 |
| Three of a kind | 3 to 1 |
| Two pair | 2 to 1 |
| Pair | 1 to 1 |
In order to participate in the game, you must first place an ante bet. You are then dealt a hand of five cards face up. The dealer also receives five cards of which four cards are dealt face down and one card face up. In Caribbean Poker, the player and the dealer compare hands formed from their five cards. No additional cards are dealt.
When you have looked at your cards and the dealer's up card, you must decide whether to challenge the dealer's hand with a bet or fold. If you wish to challenge the dealer, you must place an additional bet of two times the ante bet. If you instead choose to fold you forfeit your ante.
When the bet has been placed, the dealer reveals his four remaining cards and the hands are compared.
To qualify the dealer needs an ace and a king or higher. If the dealer's hand does not qualify, you receive 1 to 1 on your ante and your bet (raise) is returned to you.
If the dealer's hand does qualify, the best hand wins. Your winning hand receives 1 to 1 on the ante plus the winnings on your bet (raise), which are calculated according to the payout table. When the dealer and the player receive poker hands of equal value, the hand result in a push and both the ante and the bet are returned to the player.
Each table has a set limit that cannot be exceed. If you wish to play by a higher limit than the current set limit you may change the limit by clicking the TABLE LIMITS sign located in the upper left corner of the table. Once the sign has been clicked a dialogue window will open displaying the different limits there are for the table. To view what the limit currently is set to simply drag your mouse pointer over the sign and the current limit will be displayed.
It is not possible to place any side bets in Caribbean poker.
