Jacks or Better

What is Jacks or Better?

In Jacks or Better you can play between 1-100 hands per game. Each hand is played with a separate deck of cards which are reshuffled after each finished hand.

This version of Jacks or Better follows the standard rules of Jacks or Better Video Poker. A pair of jacks or better is required to win. All conventional winning poker hands higher than a pair of jacks constitutes a win.

If you play the maximum credits per hand, the win for Royal Straight Flush is 4000 credits (800 credits per credit bet) which is higher than if less than maximum credits is bet.

If you obtain a winning combination, you have an option of collecting the win or try to double the win. The objective of the bonus game is to predict whether the card turned face down is red or black. If successful, you can choose to try to double again or collect the win. Correct color selection pays double the bet.

How to Play

Before pressing DEAL you can adjust the number of hands, how many credits per hand, and the credit value. To adjust how many credits you would like to play per hand you either select the wanted credit amount on the paytable, or press the blue MAX BET button. To select the amount of hands to play use the blue arrows left/right or the blue MAX HANDS button. You can adjust the credit value by using the blue arrows left/right. The default bet is 1 credit per hand, 1 hand per game, and a credit value of 0.05. You're now ready to press DEAL.

Max Bet

Max bet is performed by pressing the BET MAX button. Pressing the button will max the credits per hand, however it will not max the credit value or the number of hands.

Hold

Once the first hand is dealt some cards may automatically be held and some not, this is to help you see which patterns are most likely to give you the highest win. If you don't want to follow these guidelines you can simply choose which cards to hold or not by selecting each card. Selecting a held card will release it, selecting a released card will hold it. You're now ready to press DRAW.

Draw

Once DRAW has been pressed the cards that are not held will be replaced with new cards from the deck. In case of a winning combination, the win will be highlighted on the paytable as well as on the cards and you will be asked whether or not you want to play Double or Nothing.

Double or Nothing

When you receive a winning hand, you will be asked whether or not you want to play Double or Nothing. Double or Nothing is a game where you have 50% chance of doubling your winnings. In the game there is a face down card and you guess what color the face down card is, red or black. If you guess the correct color you win and have the choice of doubling again or collecting your winnings. The game ends when the color you've picked does not match the color of the card, or when you choose to collect.
