In red dog you are playing against a paytable. The game begins with the dealer placing two cards on the table, the aim is for you to guess whether the next card the dealer hits is going to be within the spread of the two cards on the table, depending on the value of these two cards your chances of winning, and how much you can win is decided. Red dog is played with 6 standard decks of 52 cards each.
You win when the third card dealt is within the spread of the first two cards, this pays differently depending on how small/big the spread is.
In case the first two cards dealt are of equal point value and the third card is of the same point value as the two for example, Three of a kind you win 11 to 1.
You lose if the third card is not within the spread of the first two.
In case the first two cards dealt are consecutive, or if the first two cards are of equal point value and the third card dealt is not the same point value ie a pair, your bet is a push.
Begin by placing a bet, to do so first select which chip you would like to use, they are located in the middle of the bottom bar. Once a chip is selected you can click within the bet area and place your bet. Once you've placed a bet you are ready to press DEAL.
The dealer will place two cards face-up on the table, and a red coin will be placed on the paytable to indicate how big the spread is between the two cards.
You now have two choices, either you can CALL which leaves your current bet on the table as it is, or you can BET which doubles your initial bet.
The game ends when the third card has been dealt and your result is displayed.
Each table has a set limit that cannot be exceed. If you wish to play by a higher limit than the current set limit you may change the limit by clicking the TABLE LIMITS sign located in the upper left corner of the table. Once the sign has been clicked a dialogue window will open displaying the different limits there are for the table. To view what the limit currently is set to simply drag your mouse pointer over the sign and the current limit will be displayed.
It is not possible to place any side bet in red dog.
